Naija Election Game is published by EngageMobile Communications Ltd and developed by EngageMobile.

Local game data

Campaign saves, selections, allocations, polling, events, tutorial progress and settings are stored locally on the device. They remain until overwritten, cleared through an available app control, or removed with the app or device storage settings.

Crash and diagnostic information

The app includes Firebase Core and Firebase Crashlytics. When Firebase initializes successfully and crash collection is enabled, technical crash and diagnostic information can leave the device and be processed by Google Firebase. This may include crash stack traces, timestamps, app and operating-system details, device details, Firebase installation identifiers and non-sensitive game context such as app version, campaign mode, current turn, content version and rules version.

The game does not intentionally attach player-created candidate names, email addresses, uploaded content, passwords, authentication details or raw save data to Crashlytics reports. Automated tests disable Crashlytics collection. If Firebase cannot initialize, reporting remains disabled and offline gameplay continues.

Analytics, accounts and advertising

The current app does not include Firebase Analytics, advertising, authentication, Firestore, cloud storage or messaging. It does not provide user accounts, real-money purchases or payment processing.

Android permissions

The Android app uses internet and network-state access so Firebase Crashlytics can deliver eligible technical diagnostics when a network is available. These permissions do not provide access to location, contacts, calendar, phone, SMS, photos, storage, camera, microphone, advertising identifiers or accounts.

Offline gameplay

Core gameplay and local saves work offline. A Firebase or Crashlytics failure does not prevent the game from launching or running.
